Start Living a Life of No Regrets

May 12, 2015
Life can actually be a walk in the park, if we decide it to be.

Life can actually be a walk in the park, if we decide it to be.

If you were on your deathbed today, what would be the number one thing you wished you had done in your life?

I know, not a super cheery way to start a post, but I wanted to get your attention!

Many of us wait for “later” or “one day” to do the things that we really want to do. We wait our whole lives to REALLY live our life, our dreams. And then we wonder why we are always tired, overwhelmed or in a persistent bad mood.

If your bucket list is loooong, this is a MUST see video! Learn the simple secret to taking the first step to living a life of no regrets.

If you found this video helpful, please pass it along!  I would also love to hear in the comments section what you are giving yourself permission to do TODAY so regret is far way!

Wishing you a peaceful transition into the Summer (yes I said it!) season!

    Permission Permission Permission Permission…
    Wish, could have, should have…
    Permission Permission Permission Permission
Hear it, Get it… Do it?
    Permission Permission Permission Permission
Time, Excuse, Falter, More, Fear, Denial?
What is it that denies me giving myself
    Permission Permission Permission Permission
    I am too happy maybe?
Even when I don’t give myself this damned Permission
Need to reflect on it surely
But here I am taking a first step towards
    Permission Permission Permission Permission
Réflexion on usage of time, or on meaning of life?
Let me have a drink and indulge myself
Let me be simple and happy just so easily
    Permission granted

Beautifully written, beautifully stated, beautifully felt and so beautifully received. Thank you Pierre for your poetic words!

Hi Susan – I’ve subscribed to your e-mail messages, but never really get a chance to read them. I am finally taking some time to catch up on them (as with my many other e-mails I don’t get to read during the year). I am glad I opened it up today! Your message is very inspiring especially at a time when I’m really thinking of what I really want to do, and where I want to be in the next few years. My career path has been influenced by others, but I am not always happy and feel like it is time to make a change. It’s interesting how you point out a “looong bucket list” because I do have a long one, and starting today– I’m giving myself permission to start tackling them one by one. Everything I’ve been doing has always been focused on short term daily goals, but you remind me that I need to tackle my long-term goals as well. Thank you so much for sharing this message!

Benedict, I am so glad that this message resonated with you and especially during a time that sounds perhaps pivotal for you. It’s not always easy to give ourselves permission especially when we know that our choices will affect other people through disappointment and perhaps disapproval. But in the end, it’s stepping up and choosing courage over fear that leads us through. Trust that your instincts will not fail you and you will find that the opportunities you need will magically appear. Best of luck with your short and long term goals!
