What an exhilarating first week it’s been at the Paris Olympics!
The City of Lights is buzzing with amazing energy, and the athletes’ dedication and passion are truly inspiring – did you see my reel about how inspiring the triathletes were for me this week??
I mean, they are actually diving, swimming and sporting in the Seine just like they said they would! My mind is blown. I’ve also discovered sports that I didn’t even know existed and it’s so fun.
In the spirit of the Olympics, why not channel some of that dynamic energy into our homes and lives with Feng Shui?
Today, I’m sharing 3 Feng Shui Tips for Winning Energy, inspired by the Paris Olympics to help you create a space that supports your goals and aspirations. LET’S GO!
1. Create a Winning Entryway
Me and the Olympic mascot. All entryways can have this joyful energy!
Just like athletes make their grand entrance onto the Olympic stage, your home’s entryway is the first impression and sets the tone for your home. Make sure your entryway is well lit, clutter-free, and inviting. Add an eye-catching doormat or plants to symbolize growth and new opportunities. This will welcome positive energy and create a strong foundation for success.
2. Incorporate the 5 Elements
Enjoying the glow and energy of the Olympic rings!
Just like the 5 rings of the Olympics logo, the balance of the 5 elements – wood, fire, earth, metal, and water – can be seen in the harmony of athletic performances. Bring this balance into your space by ensuring each element is represented in your home:
- Wood: Add plants or wooden decor to promote growth and vitality.
- Fire: Use candles or red accents to fire up passion and motivation.
- Earth: Include pottery or crystals to ground and stabilize your energy.
- Metal: Incorporate metal objects or white and gray colors for clarity and precision.
- Water: Use fountains or mirrors to enhance flow and communication.
3. Create a Victory Corner
A proud and victorious moment: holding a replica of the 2024 Olympic torch
Designate a special area in your home to celebrate your achievements and aspirations, just like athletes have their victory moments. This could be a shelf or a corner where you display awards, your Feng Shui Vision Board, or anything that symbolizes your goals and accomplishments. This “victory corner” will serve as a constant reminder of your potential (Feng Shui intention) and keep you motivated. Woo-hoo!
As we continue to cheer on the athletes in Paris, let’s keep ourselves positive and uplifted by creating environments that inspire and support us. Here’s to harnessing the wonderful energy of these athletes to inspire us to achieve our personal bests in our homes and lives!
