Whether you’re all in on Valentine’s Day or totally over it, one thing’s for sure – love is a big deal. Besides creating more abundance, love is the topic most people ask me about. And in Feng Shui, love isn’t just about romance. It’s about every relationship in your life, including and especially, the one you have with yourself.

This year, whether you’re single, taken, or somewhere in between, let’s use Feng Shui to bring in more love, deepen the love you already have, and most importantly – show yourself some love, too.

1. Activate your Love corner

1. In Feng Shui, your Relationship area (a.k.a. the top right-hand corner of your bedroom or home when standing at the front door) is where love energy flows.

Whether you want to attract a new partner, strengthen an existing relationship, or just feel more connected, this spot needs some TLC!

Try this:

  • Add pairs of things (candles, crystals, cute artwork of two people) to invite balanced, harmonious love energy.
  • Use nurturing and loving colors like soft pink, red, or peach to warm up the space.
  • If you’re single, place a symbol of the kind of relationship you desire here – think a photo, statue, or artwork that represents love to you.

2. Clear out old Love energy

Holding on to stuff from an ex? Time to let it go! Energy lingers, and keeping old love letters, gifts, or even sheets from a past relationship can block new love from coming in.

  • Declutter your space, especially under your bed – stuck energy, no thanks!
  • If you’re holding onto things “just in case,” ask yourself: Do these actually bring me joy? If not, donate or toss them (Thanks Marie Kondo!)
  • Burn some sage or palo santo to clear out any lingering vibes and reset your space.

3. Make room for Love (literally!)

Take a look around – does your space reflect a life that welcomes love?

  • Avoid having just one nightstand or a single chair at the dining table – this subtly signals that there’s no room for someone else.
  • Make sure both sides of your bed are accessible (no cramming it against a wall!).
  • If you’re in a relationship, refresh your space with cozy textures, soft lighting, and art that represents love.

4. The mirror trick for Self-Love

Mirrors amplify energy, so if you have one in your room, check to see what yours reflecting. If it’s bouncing clutter or chaos, it might be adding stress to your love life. Try this:

  • Position your mirror to reflect something beautiful – flowers, soft lighting, or a calming view.
  • Avoid mirrors directly facing your bed – they can disrupt restful energy and intimacy!
  • Every morning, stand in front of the mirror, look yourself in the eyes, and say something kind. Cheesy? Totally. Powerful? Definitely.

5. Set your intentions for Love

Feng Shui is all about aligning your space with your desires. Want a relationship? Want to deepen the one you’re in? Get intentional about it!

  • Write down your love goals and place them in your Relationship area.
  • Light a candle, close your eyes, and visualize the love you want to attract.
  • Take inspired action – whether it’s swiping right or planning a special date night, align your actions with your desires.

This Valentine’s Day, don’t just wait for love – create space for it, nurture it, and watch it flourish. Love starts with YOU, and when you show up for yourself, love flows effortlessly in every direction.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
