It’s one of those days, so bear with me.

I’m writing to you from bed because, well… I’m officially sick. After running on empty all week — pretending everything was business as usual — the seasonal shifts, eclipses, and my lifelong tendency to people-please (hello, 2 Earth in my Chinese astrology!) finally caught up with me. I even warned you last week that my energetic battery was at 20% and that I needed to slow down. And I did slow down… but apparently, not enough.

You know the phrase Physician, heal thyself?

According to Dictionary.com, this expression is “a biblical proverb meaning that people should take care of their own defects and not just correct the faults of others.”

As a Feng Shui consultant, my main focus is helping you recognize, understand, and honor your own elements and energy. Only when you truly understand yourself can you start shaping your external world – your home, work, and relationships – in a way that supports you, elementally and energetically, so you can live your best life.

And yet, here I am, preaching this wisdom while somewhat ignoring my own needs. 🙃

I’ve spent a lifetime battling perfectionism, but I believe even more in showing up — especially when it’s hard — which is why I’m here. But something about this forced slowdown feels important. I can sense — deep in my core — that this exhaustion is creating space for a message or insight I need to receive.

I didn’t plan on having a message for you today, but there it is: When your body (or mind) tells you to slow down, listen. Because chances are, something important is trying to come through. And if you don’t make space to hear it, it will go unheard.

So today, chamomile tea and tissues in hand, I will listen. Deeply.

See you next Friday — hopefully rested, recovered, and ready to embrace all the energy and new beginnings this Spring has to offer!

Wishing you a bon week-end!
