Yup, you’ve seen it correctly, Converse has designed sneakers and T-Shirts for Chinese New Year of the Dragon. Unfortunately on the website there is not an explanation of what it is (for those who are unaware of the meaning) or why they are doing it. Would this be as cool if it were Year of the Ox? Just wondering…
I’m not complaining. The rock and roller in me likes the design (designed by Chuck Taylor) and I also like that it will surely start an interesting conversation when the person is wearing them. That’s two thumbs up in my book.
